Dr. Palmer received his BS
degree in Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology in 1978.
He then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching math and science in Western Samoa. After attending the University of Louisville School of Medicine from 1982-86 he completed residency training in Pediatrics at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii and later fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
